Srishti has completed her Diploma in Yoga Science from the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga and a Certificate course of Protocol Instructor in Yoga from the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga. In addition, she has also completed a Foundation course in Yoga from the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga. Srishti is a Yoga certification board level 3- Yoga teacher and evaluator having attended a month-long yoga internship at Delhi International School Edge, Dwarka, New Delhi, and has a voluntary certification as a yoga professional from the Ministry of Ayush, Govt. Of Delhi. She has organized a webinar on International Yoga day for WICCI Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya, Dwarka, New Delhi, and has secured the 3rd position in the 1st National Yoga Championship 2019- 2020. Srishti has also organized a webinar on Yoga and Health in collaboration with the Rotaract club of USME, DTU.
Srishti has worked at Indraprastha International School as a Yoga teacher, at Club viva gym, and at Fitzip as a Yoga Instructor.
There are many types, branches, or paths of yoga. Each path utilizes a different emphasis to help perfect a different aspect of human personality, in different stages of an aspirant’s development. Srishti incorporates Ashtanga yoga, Breathing exercises, Meditation, Anatomy, Mental flexibility, Hatha yoga as well as Advanced yoga into the framework of her sessions. She includes not only Asanas but also the six Shatkarmas (physical and mental purification techniques), Mudras and Bandhas (psycho-physiological energy releasing techniques), and Pranayamas (pranic awakening practices) in her sessions. Srishti’s style of teaching also includes Ashtanga Yoga, wherein there is one breath for each movement. The movements are meant to flow together so as to heat the body and produce a detoxifying sweat. She also uses postures, which are gentle stretching movements designed to help balance the mind and the body. Srishti will incorporate Yoga postures designed to rejuvenate the brain, spine, glands, and internal organs. They work by increasing the blood and prana supply to these areas and by stimulating them with gentle squeezing action leaving you feeling rejuvenated and invigorated. Ready to take on life!
Yes! Srishti is available to teach clients personally at home in Dwarka area of Delhi. She is also available as an online yoga instructor for those who reside in other parts of the India and the world.
