Sreya has a Bachelor’s in Physical Education from Calcutta University and a PG Diploma in Yoga from the Anindya Yog Society. (C.U). She is also a certified Zumba instructor and has completed 300 Hrs YTTC from Rishikesh Yoga Ashram (Certified by the Yoga Alliance).
Sreya has conducted Yoga sessions and workshops for several corporates like Siemens, Decathlon, Bajaj, Emed life, Comtech, Neustar City Bank, HCL, Manhattan Associate, The Little Gym, Just Dance Studio, Chrysalis High International School, ST. Mira’s School and other educational institutes.
Sreya does not focus on just one style of Yoga. She advocates many different varieties, each with its own discipline, focus, and goals. She covers Power Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Traditional Ashtanga Yoga, Chair Yoga, Partner Yoga, Yin Yoga, Strap Yoga, Meditation, and Stress Management. Sreya uses Power Yoga specifically to improve muscle strength and cardiovascular endurance. The poses are challenging, and she moves swiftly from one pose to the next. She also teaches Chair Yoga which is a boon for people who have injuries, low mobility, or physical disabilities. However, it is not restricted, even the fittest person can practice asana in a chair to stretch stiff, muscles, keep your joints limber, and help improve blood flow. Sreya also covers Strap Yoga which can help less flexible beginner yogis enjoy the benefits of poses they may be intimidated by. At the same time, Yoga straps can deepen the intensity and challenge of intermediate and advanced asanas.
