Simren has studied Yoga science for Wellness from the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga and has completed the 200 hours yoga TTC from Santhi Yoga, Kerala and the 300 hours yoga TTC from the Bodhi School of Yoga, Goa. She is a certified nutritionist having achieved her certification from the Institute of Nutrition and Fitness, Delhi.
Simren has worked as a Yoga instructor at Santhi Yoga, Kerala as well conducted several workshops helping clients with post surgery Yoga Therapy.
In her classes, Simren will cover Vinyasa, Hatha, and Ashtanga. Ashtanga is a highly athletic and energetic style of yoga consisting of six series or levels and a set sequence of poses. It’s foundation is vinyasa, which focuses on breath and energy while alternating between poses.A normal yoga session starts with a warm-up and then moves on to breath awareness. To build strength and flexibility, a sequence of postures is taught, including floor, chair, and standing training. Occasionally, additional instruction in meditation or pranayama (advanced breathing methods) will be given. After class, there is relaxation s well as providing adjustments and substitutes for the positions that are taught. Certain clients require accommodations to enable them to work on the same body part in a different method due to specific problems. Since Simren has greater experience, she will offer advice on more difficult poses. Simren is a nutritionist, so she can guide you through the complexities of meal planning and lifestyle modifications while also educating you on how to make better decisions and tailoring solutions to your particular requirements and tastes. Regular yoga practice can enhance flexibility, strength, endurance, and general well-being. Your muscles will hold postures longer as you become stronger; your flexibility will allow you to move into poses farther; and your awareness will continue to find deeper levels to engage throughout your practice as you become more in tune with your body and breath.
