Shruti has been teaching yoga for over 4 years and is a committed teacher who trains our clients in the Andheri East, Powai and Chandivali areas of Mumbai. Shruti focuses on developing your Hatha yoga self-practice and her lessons cover how to get ready for self-practice and how to make progress on your Hatha Yoga journey. Shruti's yoga sessions provide a thorough immersion in the traditional practices and philosophies of yoga. She also incorporates the Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Hatha yoga systems in all her teaching sessions. Having conducted several online classes as well, Shruti's yoga courses are expertly executed and are designed-based and yet based on conventional thinking. Understanding the human system is the cornerstone of yoga, which aims to strike a balance between movement and stability. Her Yoga Anatomy classes emphasize safe, correct asana and pranayama techniques combined with a solid knowledge of yoga anatomy. Shruti makes sure to include yoga kriyas in her routines as well. Yoga kriyas are important because they improve your capacity to cleanse respiration and, enhance the focus of the mind respectively.

Shruti is certified by Yoga Alliance, USA, and has completed the course in the gurukulam system of yogic studies which includes the practice and philosophy of yoga, teaching methodology, yoga anatomy, kriyas, pranayamas, and traditional meditation techniques. She has also completed the Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Course- 200 hrs at Samyak Yoga, Mysore, India.

You can learn the classic Hatha Yoga style through Shruti's regimen. Hatha yoga is a subset of yoga that employs physical maneuvers in an effort to maintain and channel life force or energy. From the first session on, this practice is gradually built. From intermediate to advanced levels, the intensity increases. Every Asana's subtle alignments, variations, techniques, and practice recommendations will be revealed during her lessons. Shruti is an expert Hatha Yoga Teacher who is familiar with safe procedures and various levels of teaching the same asanas. Hatha Yoga uses asanas, pranayama, mudra, bandha, and shatkarma to achieve the unity of the mind, body, and spirit. The immune, respiratory, circulatory, digestive, and nervous systems will all benefit from regular, consistent practice of these postures.
