Shalini integrates Hatha yoga, with an emphasis on practicing asanas and pranayama, or breathing control, to promote vital energy flow throughout the body. Hatha Yoga focuses on improving the energy flow through meditation in particular. Although she incorporates Ashtanga into the positions to combine these components, the poses flow more fluidly. If you want to lose weight, for example, Ashtanga may be a better alternative. On the other hand, if you want to learn meditation or enhance your breathing, Hatha is the foundation that will guide you through the world of Yoga. Shalini will guide and advise you on the style that most appeals to and suits you. She incorporates a variety of poses to help with flexibility, balance, stress relaxation, and muscular strengthening. Warm-up poses, standing poses, twists, inversions, backbends, forward bends, and, of course, Savasana is all part of her sequence. She also considers the client's degree of experience and designs the session accordingly
