Shalini has completed 200 Hours of Yoga Teacher Training at Beingayogic Academy as well as 85 Hours of the Pre and Postnatal Teachers Training Course the famous Rishikul Yogshala in Rishikesh.
Shalini believes that the three trimesters require a particular and differentiated approach. She carefully listens to what future mothers tell her, and any sign of malaise or discomfort in any asana leads to her making variations and changes in the routine. Shalini offers private lessons in which she adapts every routine to the individual client. She adapts the poses and exercises to make them less intense. Her goal is to promote the feeling of lightness, develop more healthy breathing patterns, and guide mums to experience meditation, visualizations, and breathing techniques. Shalini’s classes are not restricted to prenatal and postnatal care. Her regular classes cover all the aspects of Yoga including poses or asanas. Poses range in difficulty from laying flat on the floor to physically challenging positions. If at any time during the session, a pose is too difficult, Shalini will provide you with a modified posture. Shalini aims at helping you apply Yoga in the best way possible, as the healing technology of becoming more whole, integrated, and aware at both physical and nonphysical levels.
