Shalini is a passionate Yoga instructor who specializes in, particularly Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga as well as Hatha Yoga and trains our clients in Bellahalli area of Bangalore. Shalini uses a mix of specific techniques of asana, pranayama, and relaxation exercises designed to lead clients to a stage of mental balance, self-awareness, and physical strength. In her pregnancy yoga practice Shalini believes that Yoga means union within us and in pregnancy, the concept of union and bond extends to the life that grows inside the mother, therefore to the soul of the child. For her regular clients, Shalini’s training sessions includes various Yoga poses to strengthen various parts of the body such as the back, pelvic floor, and core. She includes meditation practices to keep the learner's mind positive and peaceful, offering snippets of Yogic philosophy for a positive attitude, and advocating a Yogic lifestyle for life-work balance. Shalini also incorporates Hatha Yoga into her teaching sessions focusing on posture and breathing techniques to channel vital energy sources. She uses this form of gentle Yoga to emphasize static poses which is great for beginners. However, even though Shalini's teaching practices are often gentle, here sessions are physically and mentally challenging and keeps all learners on their toes!

Shalini believes that the three trimesters require a particular and differentiated approach. She carefully listens to what future mothers tell her, and any sign of malaise or discomfort in any asana leads to her making variations and changes in the routine. Shalini offers private lessons in which she adapts every routine to the individual client. She adapts the poses and exercises to make them less intense. Her goal is to promote the feeling of lightness, develop more healthy breathing patterns, and guide mums to experience meditation, visualizations, and breathing techniques. Shalini’s classes are not restricted to prenatal and postnatal care. Her regular classes cover all the aspects of Yoga including poses or asanas. Poses range in difficulty from laying flat on the floor to physically challenging positions. If at any time during the session, a pose is too difficult, Shalini will provide you with a modified posture. Shalini aims at helping you apply Yoga in the best way possible, as the healing technology of becoming more whole, integrated, and aware at both physical and nonphysical levels.
