Richa is a highly qualified Yoga Instructor and a multi-talented well-being inspiration who trains our clients in the Chattarpur area of South Delhi. As a yoga instructor, Richa uses both the ancient wisdom of Yoga philosophy and contemporary forms to facilitate deep self-inquiry and transformation for her students and clients. Having worked as a Yoga teacher at the Aayush Hatha India Foundation she has an immersive knowledge of all Yoga asana, multi-style yoga and breathwork. Through the practice of breathwork, she works towards awakening the life force of learners and opening the door to profound meditation. Using her knowledge and mastery in teaching Pranayama she creates fitness routines designed to revitalize the client physically and mentally and hone their stretching skills. What are Richa's qualifications?

Richa has multiple teacher training certifications in yoga. She has received her qualification from the Yoga Alliance Certified Rishikesh Vinyasa Yoga Ashram having completed 200 Hours of Yoga TTC. She has also learned Aerial yoga from the Aadi Yoga School in Rishikesh having finished 50 hours of Aerial Yoga teacher training. Richa is also certified by Ramesh Shetty's renowned Mysore-based Ashtanga Yoga Shala as well.

What is Richa's style of teaching?

Richa starts the session with Surya Namaskar, salutations to the sun. She directs the student to move in a dynamic fashion, one-movement-one-breath. As the name suggests this serves to build heat in the body and set the cadence for the rest of the session. The dynamic salutations are followed by a combination of poses, each held for 5 breaths. This is fast enough to keep the heat but long enough to experience the details and benefits of each pose. Alignment cues and breathwork are vital in a Yoga class, but Richa also shares snippets of Yoga philosophy, interpreted to make them relevant to everyday life. Many clients who enter the path of Yoga through asana haven’t delved into texts like the Yoga Sutra, so this is a great opportunity to enrich your experience by learning something new!
