Priya is a Delhi-based yoga instructor who trains our clients in the Najafgarh area of Delhi.  Priya is extremely committed to using yoga to develop a more compassionate and connected relationship with oneself, allowing her clients to realize their best potential wrt. their health. Ashtanga yoga is Priya's main focus, although she also teaches Corporate yoga, Therapeutic asanas, and Yoga Nidra as part of her teaching program. She has extensive experience working as a support personnel at both CRPF GC Jharoda Kalan and the Rehabilitation Centre. Priya has led workshops with the Bharat Scouts and Guides in Delhi and the RTRM Hospital in Jaffarpur. Every single one of Priya's lessons is designed to give you a space where you may escape from daily life, think back on your experiences, and rediscover the ways in which your special potential is just waiting to be realized in the world.  In her role as a personal yoga instructor, Priya builds a collaborative relationship with her clients by sharing her extensive knowledge and experience of yoga to help them develop. She also regularly performs her own assessments (for example, by observing the client’s flexibility) with the aim of catering to the client's health needs, priorities, and wellness goals.

Priya's method of instruction incorporates Yoga Nidra, Therapeutic Asana, and Corporate Yoga. Corporate yoga is a form of yoga that is only practiced in the workplace. It promotes a more positive approach and attitude towards work as well as greater workplace well-being. She will teach you the savasana (corpse posture) through Yoga Nidra; this methodical meditation moves you through the pancha maya kosha (five layers of self) and leaves you feeling complete. She combines this traditional yoga sequence with synchronized breathing exercises (vinyasa), which encourage the breath to flow as you perform the asanas or poses. She includes therapeutic yoga, which uses yoga asanas and practices to treat medical ailments. It also involves receiving education in yogic teachings and practices to prevent, lessen, or eliminate limits brought on by structural, physiological, mental, or spiritual discomfort. When performed consistently, these asanas promote a smooth flow of energy. Priya has a thorough understanding of how therapeutic asanas and yoga nidra work together to profoundly heal the body, mind, and spirit.
