She will teach you the savasana (corpse posture) through Yoga Nidra; this methodical meditation moves you through the pancha maya kosha (five layers of self) and leaves you feeling complete. She combines this traditional yoga sequence with synchronized breathing exercises (vinyasa), which encourage the breath to flow as you perform the asanas or poses. She includes therapeutic yoga, which uses yoga asanas and practices to treat medical ailments. It also involves receiving education in yogic teachings and practices to prevent, lessen, or eliminate limits brought on by structural, physiological, mental, or spiritual discomfort. When performed consistently, these asanas promote a smooth flow of energy. Priya has a thorough understanding of how therapeutic asanas and yoga nidra work together to profoundly heal the body, mind, and spirit.
