What is Pratyaksha's style of teaching?

Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, and Breathing Techniques are just a few of the styles of yoga that Pratyaksha teaches. She incorporates Yin and Restorative Yoga into her sessions. In her sessions she makes you use tools like yoga blocks, blankets, and bolsters that can allow you to hold yoga poses (asanas) for a longer period of time, giving you a peaceful practice. It is a form of meditation that emphasizes the connection of the body and mind, which is a key component of yoga. Many of the poses are held relatively effortlessly by using props as supports. For instance, in normal vinyasa sessions, you quickly transition from one posture to the next while you work up a sweat and gradually improve your strength and flexibility. When practicing restorative yoga, which uses props to support the body, the muscles are relaxed rather than being engaged as in these more vigorous yoga methods. Pratyaksha incorporates asanas (postures) that are held for longer periods of time than in other kinds of yoga, as well as Yin Yoga, a slow-paced workout method that incorporates concepts of traditional Chinese medicine.
