Kesang has completed the 500 hrs Hatha & Ashtanga Yoga YTT Certified Yoga Course with Srinatha Yogashala, Mysore and has also successfully completed the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training (YTTC) of 200 hrs duration from Dr. Ramesh Shetty Yoga Shala, Mysore India. Kesang has also acquired a SEN Enabler Program Certificate, from Drishti, Bangalore.

What is Kesang's teaching experience?

Kesang has worked as a Fitness and Yoga Expert at My Ava which is an online platform for women's wellness and has worked as a consultant, Yoga expert, and also as a content creator for the website and app specializing in women's hormonal health and well-being. She has also worked as a Freelance/ Online Yoga Trainer programming and has trained groups and trained clients personally as well as conducted live classes through online portals for co-living company Colive. Kesang has also worked at Cult.fit Yoga in Bangalore as a strength and conditioning trainer.

What is Kesang's style of teaching?

Kesang uses a blend of Hatha, Vinyasa, Power, Core, and Pranayama in his sessions. The routine consists of deliberate, concentrated movements and postures designed to promote flexibility, tone and strengthen muscles and align the body. Most often, breathing techniques are also encompassed along with the movements, allowing clients a relaxing experience coinciding with the movement. She incorporates the athleticism of Ashtanga, including lots of Vinyasas (series of poses done in sequence) but gives the client the flexibility to change the order thus making each class different. Through Core Yoga Kesang aims to teach clients to communicate with their bodies and access their spiritual core which builds the foundation, mentally to focus, and physically to keep up with a strenuous Yoga routine. A traditional class with Kesang ends with participants holding their hands held together in a prayer pose over the heart, bowing and saying Namaste to one another.
