Kavita is a highly enthusiastic and motivated Yoga Instructor who trains our clients in Vikaspuri and other areas of West Delhi. Kavita has over two years of teaching experience and has undergone advanced training in Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga disciplines. Having worked at the Sivanada Yoga Vedanta Centre Kerala, she is a dedicated Yoga teacher with a history of meeting fitness goals utilizing consistent and self-disciplinary practices, such as meditation, chanting, mantra, prayer, breath work, ritual and selfless action. Kavita teaches Yoga asanas as a multi modal form of exercise integrating stretching, flexibility and strength building. Kavita emphasizes that Yoga is a remedy that can help with almost any new age-related issue, such as diabetes, depression, obesity as well as panic attacks and yoga isn’t just an option only for adults, but also for children that can help kids assist themselves in establishing an improved lifestyle as they grow older. What are Kavita's qualifications?

Kavita has multiple teacher training qualifications to her credit and is a Certified Yoga Wellness Instructor by the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India. She is also qualified as an Advanced Yoga Teacher having completed 300 Hrs of Yoga Acharya Teacher Training at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre, Kerala. In addition, Kavita is also a certified Yoga Teacher having completed Yoga Shiromani 200 Hrs at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre, Kerala.

What is Kavita's style of teaching?

Kavita's style of teaching, is to set up a framework of Ashtanga followed by Vinyasa sequences, beginning with sun salutations, to warm up, followed by standing and seating poses and then closing postures. She differentiates cues and assists to meet each individual’s physical and mental level, and teaches adaptations to ensure safe and effective movement. Her style is an integration of Yoga Guru Sivananda's Yoga Shiromani and Yoga Acharya programs, based on the understanding of the Yoga doctrine as an orderly way to self- awareness and transformation of oneself. Imparting different routines of varying intensity, from high to moderate to mild, Kavita believes the mind and the body need to be in harmony to achieve holistic good health, and a healthy mind in a healthy body can lead to self-enlightenment.
