Gunjan has completed the Advanced Teacher’s Training Course (900 Hours) in Yoga Education from world renowned - The Yoga Institute in Mumbai.
Yoga and HIIT are two teaching philosophies that Gunjan uses in her classes. She aspires for 30 seconds of gradual, thoughtful motion with each HIIT-inspired asana, followed by 20 seconds of a faster pace, and 10 seconds of high-intensity movement, where you go as strongly as you can without sacrificing proper alignment. Gunjan uses a combination of conventional yoga poses and intense, heart-pumping workouts. Imagine performing a lot of squat leaps, jumping jacks, burpees, and mountain climbers. She also incorporates the classic Ashtanga and Hatha vinyasa techniques, which consist of a series of postures that differ in difficulty and benefit. An essential component of the practice is the transitions between each posture. Hatha yoga, which is done more slowly and concentrates on the breath, deliberate movements, and stretching, is also a part of Gunjan’s routine. She combines Vinyasa yoga, which tends to move at a faster tempo, with breathing exercises. Gunjan's session is characterized by a steady stream of movements.
