Sanjana is a highly qualified instructor having completed her 200 hrs yoga teacher training from the prestigious Sanathana Yoga Shala graduating as a qualified Hatha Yoga Teacher. She has also successfully completed Yoga Training (IYT) 300 Hrs+ from the well known Indea Yoga institute in Mysore. Sanjana has also received certification from the prestigious 5 Elements International School of Yoga and Movement having completed the International Teacher Training Course in Yin Yoga. She is currently pursuing MSC in Yoga Therapy at the SYASA University. If all this wasnt enough Sanjana is also a certified prenatal yoga instructor!
As a qualified personal Yoga teacher, Sanjana specializes in all branches of Yoga. Having over 10+ years of experience to her credit, she promotes holistic wellbeing through coaching and consultation, designing vinyasa and flow formats for elementary as well as intermediate learners. Well-versed in Yin Yoga, pre-natal Yoga and Yoga therapy she guides clients, to perfect postures, breathing techniques and stretches ensuring comfort while building flexibility. Her style includes teaching restorative, classical Hatha, heart-centered vinyasa classes augmented with appropriate pranayama and meditation techniques ensuring an immersive Yoga experience. Sanjana’s teaching style stems from her authenticity and aim to promote peace, gratitude, and self-love within each of her students using openness and vulnerability.
Sanjana has worked as an inhouse Yoga teacher at Gold’s Gym, Malleshwaram (Bangalore) and led vinyasa style classes 2 times a week. She has also worked as a Yoga instructor at Prafull Oorja Trust having completed training in Yoga for children with special needs and also taught for a year at Tamahar Trust – Center for children with special needs. She has led Yoga classes at Payal’s Dance Academy, Vijayanagar (Bangalore) and built and led a group of practitioners in developing and deepening their yoga practice based on strength and flexibility. Currently she freelances with various yoga studios in Bangalore including Nikaya Yoga and Healthifyme.
Yes! Sanjana is available to teach select clients in private one-on-one classes in Rajajinagar, Sheshadripuram and Kumara Park areas of Bangalore. To those residing in other parts of India and the world and who want to learn under her tutelage, she is available as an online yoga instructor.
