What are Samidha's qualifications?

Samidha is a UGC-NET 2022 Qualified Assistant Professor in Yoga. She has completed her Master of Arts in Yoga from Savitribai Phule Pune University and her Bachelor of Arts in Yoga (Yog Visharad) from Tilak Maharashtra from Vidyapith, Pune. Samidha has also completed her Yoga Instructor Course from the renowned SVYASA Bengaluru and her Yoga Teacher / Diploma in Yoga Education from Yog Vidyadham Nasik. She has been practicing Iyengar Yoga for 10 years under the guidance of Sunita Tai (BKS Iyengar’s daughter) and Sharvari Godase.

What is Samidha's style of teaching?

Iyengar Yoga is a form of Yoga that is practiced as a workout by Samidha. This style of Yoga has an emphasis on the structural alignment of the physical body through the performance of various asanas. In terms of precision, sequence, and the utilization of various props, it is distinctive from other types of yoga. In each and every asana, precision is sought after in terms of body alignment. In addition, she adheres to Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, in which there is a technique referred to as the Eightfold Way that can be followed to achieve enlightenment and freedom. Both mental and spiritual well-being is improved by this practice of Ashtanga yoga, which, as its name suggests, encompasses all eight of yoga's limbs. In addition to this, she is doing research to determine the impact that yoga has on the discomfort caused by migraines. Samidha also employs Kriya Yoga which is a very advanced Raja Yoga technique of pranayama. The subtle currents of life energy (prana) in the spine and brain are strengthened and reenergized via the practice of Kriya.
