Prerna has completed the 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training Program from the Patanjali International Yoga Foundation in Tapovan Rishikesh.
Prerna's method of instruction consists of laying a foundation of Ashtanga postures and then transitioning into Vinyasa sequences, moving from sun salutations to standing and seated positions and finally to restorative poses. This is followed by a series of asanas designed to bring the client's focus to the body. The asanas, or sequence, strengthen the entire body by stretching the musculature and increasing joint mobility. She tailors her cues and assists with the cognitive and motor skills of her students, and she shows them how to make adjustments for their own good. Her approach merges Ashtanga, Hatha, and Vinyasa flow practices, with an emphasis on the Yoga philosophy as a methodical means to introspection and personal evolution. Prerna teaches rigorous, moderate, and gentle workouts because she thinks it's important for her clients to have a healthy body and mind in order to reach enlightenment.
Yes! Prerna is available for personal training at home in the Baner Pashan area and other areas of Pune. Furthermore she is also available as an online yoga instructor for those who live in other parts of the country and the world.
