Gayatri has completed 200 Hours of training at the Rishikesh School of Yoga. She is also certified as a Yoga instructor from the Mysore Ashtanga Yoga Shala. Gayatri is also qualified as a Pre and Post Natal Yoga teacher from the acclaimed Yoga Vidya Gurukul.

What is Gayatri's style of teaching?

Gayatri’s integrated and comprehensive approach to Yoga includes several styles such as Ashtanga Yoga, Hatha Yoga, and Power yoga. She typically begins her practice of asanas with repetitions of Surya Namaskara followed by a standing sequence. Through the asanas, she helps to increase the strength and flexibility of the body. Officially her style is accompanied by very little alignment instruction. Breathing is ideally even and steady in terms of the length of the inhalations and exhalations. Gayatri’s Power Yoga sessions usually include far more intense flowing Yoga poses than chanting and meditation. It is like a vigorous workout that burns calories and keeps you fit. Her Pre Natal and Post Natal Yoga sessions include various Yoga poses to strengthen various parts of the body such as the back, pelvic floor, and core as well as breathing which is helpful to control mental stress during labor. Gayatri will help you adjust your posture, gauge when you should go deeper in poses or back off, deliver hard truths with compassion, help you relax, and enhance and personalize your practice.
