Snehita is a qualified and certified yoga teacher practising and teaching yoga full time. She holds a 200 hour Teacher Training Certification from the reputed Rishikul Yogashala, Rishikesh. Snehita is of the firm belief that continuous professional development is a must for all yoga teachers in the field of yoga. Yoga as a tradition may be thousands of years old but as a rich tradition of teachings it is an ever-evolving art and science which has cross-disciplinary connections. According to her, a teacher student relationship is the first step on a long and fascinating journey and it is the teacher’s job to aid the journey of discovery, discipline and development. It is the duty of the teacher to keep relearning and honing her craft because they owe it to their students who invest time and money to attend a teacher’s classes or retreats. Snehita finds that Yoga’s therapeutic applications to be the most rewarding because it is a skill that can not only cure a student externally but also internally.
For all her individual as well as group classes, Snehita presents her student with appropriate modifications and alternative poses that allow for the student to be able to do a pose effectively to the best of his / her abilities.
